Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives and extensive destruction caused by the powerful earthquake that struck Indonesia.
In a message shared on social media platform X on Saturday, the Prime Minister conveyed his condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, the people of Indonesia and the families who lost their loved ones in the disaster.
Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by the earthquake in Indonesia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz said Pakistan stood with Indonesia during the difficult period and extended its sympathies to all those affected by the devastating earthquake. He also expressed hope for the speedy recovery of those injured in the disaster.
He said the thoughts and prayers of the Pakistani nation were with the victims, their families and everyone affected by the earthquake.
Reaffirming the close and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Indonesia, the prime minister said Pakistan would stand “shoulder to shoulder” with the Indonesian people as they faced the aftermath of the natural disaster.
PM Shehbaz also prayed for strength, courage and resilience for those dealing with the tragedy and its consequences.
