Hamas calls for 'Day of Rage' against planned and illegal Israeli settlements

Gaza (Web Desk): The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has declared today (Friday) as a “Day of Rage,” urging the Palestinian public, resistance factions, and civil society to unite in protest against Israeli atrocities and ongoing annexation plans.

A senior Hamas leader stated that the purpose of the Day of Rage is to express solidarity with the besieged residents of Gaza and to reject Israel’s expansionist ambitions. He emphasized that the blockade, famine, destruction, and relentless airstrikes demand a united national voice. Hamas called on the people to take to the streets and show the world that the Palestinian nation will not surrender to oppression, and that continued resistance will ultimately thwart all annexation attempts.

Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza continue with no sign of de-escalation. In the latest round of bombings, at least 54 Palestinians were killed and 831 injured. Among the dead were 10 unarmed civilians waiting for humanitarian aid. In the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike on a residential home killed 8 people and left many others critically injured.

The ongoing Israeli bombardment, siege, and worsening humanitarian crisis have made the situation in Gaza even more dire. Hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties, while medical supplies and essential resources are in severe shortage.

On this occasion, Hamas and other Palestinian groups have appealed to the international community to raise their voices against Israeli aggression and to show real, practical solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
