Dera Bugti (Staff Report): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday inaugurated the Kacchi canal project in Sui, Dera Bugti.
While addressing the participants of the groundbreaking ceremony, Abbasi said Kacchi canal project will change the lives of the residents of Balochistan.
“Today, Nawaz Sharif should have been here,” he said, adding that the former premier had been involved in every phase of the project.
The Kachhi canal project will help in irrigation of 72,000 acres of land.
The prime minister reached Sui on a one-day visit at 11am. Upon the premier’s visit, a holiday was been declared in the district of Dera Bugti.
