President Zardari in Manama on 4-day official visit to Bahrain

Manama (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari has begun a four-day official trip to Bahrain, arriving in the capital city of Manama where he was warmly received by senior Bahraini officials.

The President was welcomed at the airport by Commander of the Bahrain National Guard Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani. Also present to greet him were Bahrain’s Ambassador to Pakistan Muhammad Ibrahim Abdul Qadir and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Saqib Rauf.

During his stay, President Zardari is scheduled to hold meetings with Bahrain’s King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as well as Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

As part of his official engagements, the President will also speak at a reception being hosted at the headquarters of Bahrain’s Economic Development Board in Manama.
