Afghan Taliban-terrorist groups nexus exposed, report says Kabul's support for terrorists poses regional security challenge

Kabul/Islamabad (Web Desk): New details have surfaced regarding links between the Taliban regime in Afghanistan and militant organizations operating in the region.

According to a report by Afghan media outlet Afghan International, former Afghan National Security Adviser Ahmad Zia Saraj has made serious claims about alleged cooperation between the Taliban regime and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Saraj reportedly stated that there is deep coordination between the two sides, including the provision of safe havens for militants. He further claimed that, according to available information, there may also be exchanges of suicide attackers between groups.

The report also alleges that the Taliban administration is providing modern weapons and logistical support to militant organizations, which it describes as a major threat to regional peace and stability.

In addition, it suggests that not only the TTP but also other international militant groups are allegedly operating from Afghan territory with relative freedom. These claims have raised fresh concerns about security dynamics in the region.
