Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mahnoor Safdar gets married to Azan Jabbar

Lahore (Web Desk): The nikah ceremony of Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, was held in a private and intimate gathering at Jati Umra, with members of the Sharif family and close relatives in attendance.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and other prominent political and family members attended the ceremony.

According to sources, the nikah ceremony was held at 5pm on Saturday at Jati Umra. Close relatives and family friends were invited to the event.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at Jati Umra especially to attend the ceremony. Nawaz Sharif, Mahnoor’s father Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz were also present.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and other notable figures also attended the family gathering.

According to family sources, Mahnoor Safdar’s husband, Azaan Jabbar, belongs to a prominent business family. His father, Jabbar Khalid, is a well-known industrialist, while the family is associated with the flour milling industry.

Mahnoor Safdar recently returned to Pakistan after completing her higher education and graduation from SOAS University of London. Maryam Nawaz had also travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony.

At the time, Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness over her daughter’s academic achievement, saying that by the grace of Allah, all three of her children had completed their higher education.
