G7 Foreign Ministers release joint statement on global issues

Toronto (Web Desk): The G7 foreign ministers issued a joint statement at their recent meeting, reaffirming their stance on various global issues. According to the statement, the G7 foreign ministers expressed strong support for US President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan and demanded the immediate return of hostages' remains from Gaza by Israel.

The statement also raised concerns over the obstacles faced in the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The G7 foreign ministers called on all parties to allow the unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza to provide urgent aid to the affected individuals.

Regarding Ukraine, the G7 foreign ministers reiterated their support for Ukraine’s right to self-defense and national sovereignty. The meeting emphasized that an immediate ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia is a necessary step for peace. Additionally, the G7 condemned Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in the strongest terms.
