Islamabad (Staff Report): Additional session judge Raja Khurram, nominated in minor maid Tayyaba torture case, has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
According to a notification issued by Islamabad High Court (IHC), Raja Khurram cannot perform judicial duties.
Tayyaba, a minor maid servant, was tortured allegedly by the family of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Islamabad, Raja Khurram Ali Khan.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took suo moto notice of the torture and ordered to shift Tayyaba at Sweet Home unless the results of the DNA tests of the people claiming to be her parents arrive.
