Lahore (Web Desk): Zaeem Qadri, senior Awam Pakistan Party leader, ex-member of the Punjab Assembly, and former leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), passed away in Lahore, his family confirmed on Friday.

According to relatives, funeral prayers will be held after Maghrib at his residence on 26 Lawrence Road in Lahore.

Born in Lahore on December 25, 1964, Qadri represented the people of Punjab in the assembly from 2008 until 2018.

During his political career, he worked closely with then-Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, serving as an adviser and acting as the spokesperson for the provincial government.

In 2018, following differences within the PML-N, he parted ways with the party and joined a different political platform, continuing his involvement in provincial politics.

His passing marks the close of a long and active political journey.

Colleagues, political figures, and supporters have already begun expressing condolences, remembering him for his outspoken nature and his contributions to Punjab’s political scene.
