Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant surge on Thursday, rising by Rs2,500 per tola to reach Rs304,000, compared to the previous day’s price of Rs301,500.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,144, reaching Rs260,631, up from Rs258,487.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs1,965, climbing from Rs236,955 to Rs238,920
In the silver market, the price per tola rose by Rs55, settling at Rs3,367, while the price for 10 grams saw an increase of Rs47, reaching Rs2,886 from Rs2,839.
In the international market, the price of gold saw a rise of $25, climbing to $2,913 from $2,888, while silver prices also experienced a modest increase of $0.55, reaching $32.25 from $31.70.
