Rawalpindi railway station illuminated in colours of Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The Rawalpindi Railway Station has been illuminated with red and green lights to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day and highlight the close ties between Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia in the context of the Mecca Defence Agreement.

The railway station building has also been decorated with the national flags of Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia, giving the landmark a distinctive appearance ahead of Independence Day celebrations.

According to the arrangements, the red lighting represents Turkiye, while the green illumination symbolises Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The combination of the colours and national flags reflects the friendship and growing cooperation among the three countries.

The special lighting has added a festive atmosphere to the railway station, particularly during the evening hours when the illuminated building becomes a prominent sight for passengers and visitors.
