Pakistan Rifle team wins 13 medals at F-Class British Open

London (Web Desk): Pakistan’s rifle team delivered a remarkable performance at the British Open 2026, returning with a total of 13 medals, comprising seven gold, two silver and four bronze.

Nearly 185 top-level shooters from 24 countries participated in the competition, making Pakistan’s medal haul particularly noteworthy as the country competed with one of the smallest teams at the event.

Ahsan Gul contributed two gold medals, finishing first in both the 1,000-yard Under-25 category and the 1,000-yard Under-25 Aggregate competition.

Huzaifa Gul led Pakistan’s individual medal standings with an exceptional tally of four gold, two silver and one bronze medal across different events.

Muhammad Waleed also made his mark by winning gold in the 1,000-yard competition and adding a bronze medal in the FTR Aggregate event. Other members of the Pakistani squad also achieved commendable results in the 800-yard and 900-yard competitions.

The Pakistan Long Range Rifle Association said that the British Open was a significant opportunity for the national squad to assess its preparations ahead of the World Championship.

The team’s strong performance has also raised confidence among the shooters ahead of the major international event.

The 7th F-Class World Championship is underway in Britain from August 10 to 16. After their impressive campaign at the British Open, Pakistan’s rifle team is heading into the world championship with renewed confidence and hopes of producing another notable performance.
