London(Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that his recent visit to Belarus proved to be highly productive, with significant focus on strengthening ties in agriculture, mining, and skilled workforce sectors.
The prime minister highlighted that both nations would benefit from sharing their experiences in these critical areas. He specifically noted that mining machinery is a key area of cooperation, as Belarus manufactures the necessary equipment for the industry.
In a media interaction in London, PM Shehbaz spoke about the progress made under the leadership of the current government, mentioning, "Punjab Speed was Pakistan Speed, and now we have Super Pakistan Speed." He emphasized that collective efforts and the nation's prayers will help the country achieve its set goals and milestones.
PM Shehbaz also expressed confidence that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s citizens and the armed forces will not go in vain, reaffirming that the nation will continue to move forward with determination. He pointed out that Pakistan is home to vast mineral resources, and discussions regarding the mining machinery needed for this sector took place during his visit to Belarus.
A key highlight of the visit was the discussion about sending 150,000 skilled Pakistani workers to Belarus. The prime minister emphasized that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, they are committed to serving the nation and working toward a future of development and prosperity for Pakistan.
Regarding relations with Afghanistan, PM Shahbaz reiterated that Afghanistan is a brotherly neighboring country, and it is Pakistan’s choice to foster good relations or escalate tensions.
He mentioned that he has reminded the Afghan government multiple times about the Doha Agreement, urging them to rein in terrorist organizations and not allow Afghan soil to be used for terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, PM Shahbaz Sharif announced the start of the Overseas Convention, where overseas Pakistanis will gather to voice their concerns. He praised the contributions of these individuals, who work tirelessly around the world, bringing back billions of dollars in remittances to Pakistan. He assured them that their legitimate demands would be listened to carefully during the convention.
