Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said that the members of the National Assembly (MNAs) would be given an in-camera briefing on the matters of the National Security on Friday.
The prime minister, responding to a point raised by a parliamentarian from Waziristan, said during the in-camera briefing, the parliamentarians would also be able to put their respective questions on the relevant subject.
He assured the MNA that all of his reservations would be listened and responded positively to satisfy his concerns.
“This will be a healthy interaction,” the prime minister remarked.
He assured the House that there will no discussion to spoil the situation rather it would be an attempt to rectify the matters.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will chair the in-camera meeting in the Chamber of National Assembly on Friday at 2:30pm for briefing on current issues of national security.
The military officials will brief the meeting on the current security situation.
Federal ministers, the advisers and MNAs, federal secretaries including interior, foreign affairs, finance, defense and information as well as the four provincial chief secretaries and inspector generals of police IGPs) have also been invited to attend the meeting.
