National Assembly approves all 59 clauses of 27th Constitutional Amendment

Islamabad (Web Desk): The National Assembly has passed the 27th Constitutional Amendment with a two-thirds majority. A total of 233 members voted in favor of the amendment, while 4 voted against it.

Despite the amendment's approval, the opposition members raised their voices in protest, causing a disruption in the proceedings. Following their objections, the opposition staged a walkout and boycotted the proceedings, refusing to participate in the voting process.

The house proceeded with a clause-by-clause approval of the constitutional amendments, which were passed with the required majority.
