Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has decided to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Thursday, formed to probe into Panama Papers case.
According to details, Information Minister of State Marriyum Aurangzeb revealed the truth, while talking to PTV.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the third-time elected Prime Minister of the Pakistan Nawaz Sarif will present himself for his accountability to uphold rule of law and the constitution.
“Despite reservations, Sharif family is appearing before the JIT, which is a testimony of Nawaz Sharif's belief in accountability, rule of law and the supremacy of the constitution,” the Miinister of State said.
“Sharif family had been running their businesses since 60's when Nawaz Sharif held no public office and the relevant record of their financial transactions is available with Federal Board of Revenue,” she said.
