Four more terrorists killed in Operation Shaban in Balochistan

Quetta (Web Desk): Four more terrorists were killed during the ongoing Operation Shaban in the Saran Tangi area of Balochistan, bringing the total number of militants eliminated in the operation to 71, according to security sources.

The sources said the joint counterterrorism operation, involving the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and the police, is continuing in various parts of the province as part of efforts to eliminate terrorist networks and restore lasting peace.

They added that since July 5, a total of 109 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan. The operations are based on actionable intelligence and are aimed at dismantling militant hideouts and preventing terrorist activities.

During the latest operation, security forces also recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment from the possession of the slain terrorists.

The seized items included M4 rifles, submachine guns, rocket launchers, mobile phones, and other military-grade equipment believed to have been used in terrorist activities.

Security sources reaffirmed the resolve of Pakistan's armed forces and law enforcement agencies to continue Operation Shaban until every terrorist is eliminated from the province.

They emphasized that operations against terrorist elements will continue without interruption to ensure peace, stability, and the protection of citizens across Balochistan.
