Iran says nuclear program could join deal if agreement is fair

Tehran (Web Desk): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran’s nuclear program could be part of a deal if a fair agreement is reached. In a statement, Araghchi highlighted that since the revolution, and especially over the past 12 months, Iran has faced extraordinary challenges.

He noted that during the past year, Iran faced pressure from two nuclear-armed states as well as a major terrorist attack. Despite these challenges, the Islamic Republic of Iran has stood firm and confronted them with resilience.

Araghchi emphasized that the true source of Iran’s strength is its people, not external powers. He reiterated that Iran prioritizes diplomacy over war and expressed hope that the coming year would bring peace and stability.

The Foreign Minister made it clear that Iran will not retreat in defending its sovereignty, regardless of the cost. He added that millions of Iranians have reaffirmed their commitment never to compromise on the country’s rights and dignity.
