Security forces kill 3 more India-sponsored Khawarij in Zhob operation: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The security forces killed three more Indian sponsored Khwarij during a deliberation sanitization operation in general areas Sambaza of Balochistan’s Zhob District.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), following the successful engagements by the security forces in the general area Sambaza, Zhob District from 7-9 August 2025, during which forty seven khawarij were sent to hell; on night 10/11 August 2025, a deliberate sanitization operation was conducted in surrounding areas of Sambaza along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border,” said a news release issued here Tuesday.

“During the conduct of the operation, three more Indian sponsored khawarij were hunted down and successfully neutralized. Weapons, ammunition & explosives were also recovered from the killed Khawarij,” it further said.

“The security forces remain committed to securing the nation’s frontiers and thwarting attempts at sabotaging peace, stability, and progress of Pakistan,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in separate statements issued on Tuesday, expressed strong appreciation for the efforts of Pakistan’s security forces following a successful counterterrorism operation in the Sambaza region, located along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. 

The operation resulted in the elimination of 50 militants over the past four days, whom the leadership described as Indian-backed extremists.

Both the president and prime minister commended the armed forces for their courage, strategic competence, and steadfastness in the face of ongoing threats.

President Zardari hailed the operation as a reflection of the military's professionalism and resolve. 

“The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces against terrorism. The enemies of Pakistan’s peace, stability, and development will never succeed,” he said, reaffirming that the campaign against terrorism would persist with full intensity until the menace is completely stamped out.

Echoing this stance, PM Shehbaz lauded the army's continued vigilance, noting the killing of three more Indian-sponsored militants on Monday night during a follow-up operation, which came after an earlier engagement that had already neutralized 47 terrorists in the same area. 

“We will continue this war against the scourge of terrorism until it is eradicated in toto from the country. Pakistan armed forces are engaged day and night in the mission to cleanse the homeland of terrorists, and for this, the entire nation, including myself, pays tribute to them,” he stated.

The prime minister further reiterated the country's collective resolve, emphasizing that the public stands united with the armed forces in the shared objective of ridding the nation of terrorism once and for all.
