DPM, US counterterrorism coordinator discuss bilateral cooperation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met with Gregory D. Loofer, the Acting U.S. Coordinator for Counterterrorism, during which detailed discussions took place regarding cooperation between the two countries in counterterrorism efforts.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the U.S. representative briefed the Foreign Minister on the Pakistan-U.S. Counterterrorism Dialogue and emphasized the need to further strengthen security cooperation.

On the occasion, Senator Ishaq Dar appreciated the continuous, coordinated, and effective communication between the two countries in the field of counterterrorism, stating that these measures can play a crucial role in establishing lasting peace in the region.

According to the Foreign Office statement, both parties agreed to enhance cooperation and highlighted the importance of joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
