DPM Dar, US Charge d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker discuss regional situation, Pak-US ties

Islamabad (Web Desk): US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker on Monday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to exchange views on the changing regional developments and the overall trajectory of Pakistan-United States (Pak-US) bilateral relations.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), during the meeting, DPM Dar emphasized Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating communication between the US and Iran, noting that such engagement could help ease tensions.

He also expressed hope that continued diplomatic efforts would strengthen peace and stability across the broader region.

“DPM Dar appreciated US cooperation in the ongoing repatriation of Pakistani and Iranian seafarers through Singapore, describing it as a positive example of humanitarian coordination between the two sides,” the FO statement said.
