Google rolls out Gemini in chrome for users in Pakistan

California (Web Desk): Pakistani users will now be able to use Google’s AI chatbot Gemini directly within the Chrome web browser, as the company expands access to its integrated AI feature.

The “Gemini in Chrome” feature was first launched in the United States in September 2025, followed by its expansion to Canada, New Zealand, and India in March 2026.

It has now been rolled out to several additional regions, including Pakistan. The latest expansion also covers parts of Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, making the feature available to Chrome users on both desktop and iOS devices.

With this update, a Gemini icon has been added to the top-right corner of the Chrome browser, allowing users to access the AI assistant with a single click.

The tool is capable of reading and understanding web pages, comparing information across multiple tabs, and retrieving details from recently visited websites.

Instead of manually searching through browsing history, users can now simply instruct Gemini to reopen previously accessed websites.

In addition, the feature is integrated with Google services such as Gmail, Google Maps, Calendar, YouTube, and others, enabling users to perform tasks without leaving the current webpage.
