Pakistan, Senegal reaffirm commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Senegal have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation across a wide range of areas of mutual interest.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Senegalese Foreign Minister Cheikh Niang on Tuesday, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations and opportunities to further enhance cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, the two foreign ministers reviewed the existing relationship between Pakistan and Senegal and expressed their shared desire to take bilateral ties to a broader level.

They agreed to build on ongoing cooperation and explore additional areas where the two countries can work together.

The two ministers also discussed the importance of maintaining regular engagement between Pakistan and Senegal on matters of mutual concern.

They expressed their commitment to strengthening coordination and making existing channels of cooperation more effective.

Particular attention was given to collaboration at multilateral forums. Ishaq Dar and Cheikh Niang agreed to further enhance coordination between their countries at international platforms, especially the United Nations.
