Lahore (Web Desk): The National Disaster Management Authority has predicted rain and snowfall in various parts of the country from 12 to 17 April.
According to NDMA, Islamabad, Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, and Gujrat are expected to receive rainfall from 13 to 17 April. Rain is also likely in Sialkot, Lahore, Mianwali, and Mandi Bahauddin during the same period.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Haripur, while districts including Swabi, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Karak, and Bannu may also experience rainfall between 12 and 17 April.
Dera Ismail Khan is likely to witness rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms during the forecast period.
In Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, snowfall and rain are expected in Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Astore, Diamer, Ghizer, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Rawalakot, Haveli, and Neelum Valley.
NDMA has warned that continuous rainfall in hilly areas may trigger landslides and has advised the public to take precautionary measures.
