Gold price decreases by Rs600 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a modest decline on Thursday, with the rate of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs600 per tola to Rs462,336, according to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams also registered a decrease of Rs515, bringing it down to Rs396,378. Meanwhile, the rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs472 to Rs363,359.

On the global front, gold also remained under pressure, with its international price falling by $6 to $4,398 per ounce, the association said.

Silver prices followed a similar downward trend in the domestic market. The price of silver declined by Rs17 per tola to Rs7,124, while the rate for 10 grams dropped by Rs15 to Rs6,107.

Internationally, silver also lost ground, with its price decreasing by $0.17 to $66.45 per ounce, according to the association.
