Security forces kill 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists involved in Orakzai attack: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed thirty Indian-sponsored Khwarij involved in the terrorist incident in Khyper-Pakhtunkhawa’s Orakzai District, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security forces have been conducting a series of retribution operations against the Ks involved in heinous incident that occurred in Orakzai District on 7 October, resulting in the shahadat of brave sons of soil, including Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat.

“During the conduct of operation, based on credible intelligence, in general area Jamal Maya, Orakzai District, after intense fire exchanges, all thirty Indian-sponsored khwarij involved in the terrorist incident have been sent to hell,” the statement said.

It added that these successful operations have avenged the heinous act and have brought the main perpetrators to justice.

The military’s media wing said that sanitization operations are being conducted to hunt and eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area.

“The security forces of Pakistan are determined and remain steadfast to eradicate and wipe out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday praised the security forces for conducting successful anti-terrorism operations in Orakzai, acknowledging their courage and commitment to protecting the country.

In separate statements, the president and the premier lauded the professional skills of the security forces for eliminating 30 India-backed Khawarij militants in recent days.

They paid homage to the martyred officers, including Lt. Col. Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat, as well as other personnel who embraced martyrdom, assuring that their sacrifices would never be forgotten.

President Zardari said that the nation’s armed forces had once again made Pakistan proud by dismantling the network of Indian-sponsored Khawarij.

“Continuous successes against terrorism reflect our resolve. The brave sons of the soil have made history by sacrificing their lives to protect the motherland,” he added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted that the officers and personnel of the security forces were working tirelessly to defend the country from hostile forces, often at the cost of their own lives.

He said that every officer and soldier of the armed forces was a source of national pride for embracing martyrdom in the line of duty.

“We will never allow the sinister designs of terrorists to succeed. The fight against the scourge of terrorism will continue until it is eradicated in toto,” PM Shehbaz said, reiterating that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the homeland.
