FO advises Pakistani nationals to avoid unnecessary travel to Iran amid protests 

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) on Saturday issued a travel warning advising citizens to put off all non-essential visits to Iran until the security environment improves.

In an official statement, the ministry said the step was taken in the interest of the safety and well-being of Pakistani nationals.

The spokesperson also called on Pakistanis already in Iran to remain highly alert, limit their movements, avoid unnecessary outings and stay in continuous touch with Pakistan’s diplomatic missions for any assistance they may need.

To facilitate support, the Foreign Office shared the contact numbers of Pakistan’s missions in different Iranian cities.
