Born on August 4, 1944, in Lahore, Amjad’s engagement with literature evolved into an extraordinary journey defined by range and consistency. Over the decades, he produced more than 40 books, composing poetry that delved into the subtleties of human emotion while articulating experiences often left unspoken.

His creative vision found equally powerful expression on television, where dramas such as Waris, Dehleez and Inkaar earned lasting acclaim.
