Washington (Web Desk): According to media reports, the US Vice President will lead the American delegation in the Iran–US negotiations scheduled to take place in Islamabad under Pakistan’s mediation.
Before leaving, JD Vance said he is heading to the talks in accordance with the guidance of US President Donald Trump. He expressed hope that the negotiations with Iran would remain positive and productive.
The talks between the United States and Iran will be held tomorrow in Islamabad. The US delegation will include Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
The Iranian delegation will consist of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar welcomed the distinguished guests.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan said that delegations and journalists from both Iran and the United States will be provided visa-free travel facilities.
