Mumbai (Web Desk): Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has reportedly been injured while filming a stunt sequence for his upcoming horror-comedy movie ‘Bhoot Bangla’, sparking concern among fans as a video of the incident goes viral on social media.

According to the production team, the footage shows the actor performing a dangerous action scene when he appears to lose balance and gets injured during the stunt. However, it remains unclear when the incident took place and the exact nature of his injury.

Akshay Kumar is well known for performing most of his own stunts and is widely recognized for his physical fitness and martial arts skills. He is often in the headlines for his daring action sequences.

In a recent interview, the actor also spoke about the increasing use of VFX and artificial intelligence (AI) in modern filmmaking, stating that earlier action scenes felt more realistic, whereas today’s films rely heavily on computer-generated effects, reducing the sense of realism.

The film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is being directed by renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan. The duo is collaborating again after around 15 years. They have previously worked together in hit films such as ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Bhagam Bhag’, and ‘Khatta Meetha’, which remain popular among audiences.
