Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty, exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region during a telephone call, the Foreign Office (FO), said on Wednesday.
According to a statement posted on X, the conversation also highlighted the importance of maintaining regular coordination on regional issues.

In this regard, both sides discussed greater engagement through the Regional Four (R4) foreign ministers’ mechanism involving Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.
They also reviewed bilateral relations and reaffirmed the close and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Egypt.
DPM Dar and FM Abdelatty agreed to hold an in-person meeting on the sidelines of the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
