PSL 10's remaining matches postponed amid LoC tensions

Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 has been postponed indefinitely due to escalating tensions along the Line of Control (LoC) and prevailing security concerns.

According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the situation at the LoC has significantly deteriorated over the past 24 hours, with 78 Indian drone incursions and an increase in surface-to-surface missile activity reported.

The PCB representative stated that the decision to postpone the tournament was made following advice from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a gesture of national solidarity and respect for the armed forces and security institutions during this critical time.

The PCB acknowledged the support and dedication of all stakeholders involved in the tournament  including players, franchise owners, broadcasters, sponsors, and organizers  who played a vital role in the successful execution of the league so far.

The board further emphasized its commitment to the mental well-being of both local and international players, acknowledging the concerns of their families who wish to see their loved ones return home safely.

The PCB assured that a revised schedule will be announced once the situation stabilizes.
