Gold price decreases by Rs1,800 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices saw a notable decline in the local market on Friday, as the rate for 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,800 per tola, settling at Rs350,900 compared to Rs352,700 the day before, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA),

Similarly, the cost for 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs1,543, bringing it down to Rs300,840 from the previous Rs302,383.

A dip was also recorded in the 10-gram rate of 22 karat gold, which fell by Rs1,414, now priced at Rs275,780 instead of Rs277,194.

In contrast, silver prices held steady, with no change in both per tola and 10-gram rates, remaining at Rs3,417 and Rs2,929 respectively.

In the international market, gold experienced a downward shift of $18 per ounce, now valued at $3,325, while silver prices remained flat at $32.35.
