Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has advised Ukraine to hold elections, stating that Russia is currently in a stronger negotiating position and that Ukraine is using the ongoing war as an excuse to delay elections.
Speaking about the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Trump remarked that Russia is a powerful country and is in a much stronger position for negotiations at this time. He also suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should seriously consider recent peace proposals.
Trump emphasized that Ukraine is using the war as a justification for not holding elections, even though the Ukrainian people have the right to decide their own future.
He further stated that Ukraine was supposed to receive $350 billion in aid from U.S. President Joe Biden, but due to the war, 25% of the country’s territory is now occupied.
Trump also expressed concern about Europe’s current political situation, stating that European countries are weakening themselves in an attempt to stay politically correct. He warned that if this situation continues, the security of several European nations could be at risk.
