Earthquake tremors felt in Balochistan's Kalat

Qalat (Web Desk): Residents of Kalat district in Balochistan felt strong earthquake tremors today, causing widespread fear. Many people rushed out of their homes and offices, reciting the Kalma for safety.

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of approximately 11 kilometers below the surface. The epicenter was located about 50 kilometers southeast of Qalat.

Eyewitnesses reported that the tremors struck suddenly, shaking walls and windows. In several areas, people gathered in open spaces, waiting for the situation to stabilize.

The district administration stated that, according to initial reports, there have been no casualties or property damage.

Relevant authorities are closely monitoring the situation and remain on alert for any emergencies.

Rescue sources confirmed that emergency teams are prepared to respond, and the public has been advised to stay calm, avoid unnecessary panic, and contact authorities immediately in case of any urgent situation.
