Quetta (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta on a day-long visit on Thursday.
He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti and members of the provincial cabinet received the premier at the airport.
Spending a busy day in Quetta, PM Shehbaz will meet the political leadership of the province.
According to the spokesperson of Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, a one-on-one meeting between the prime minister and Balochistan governor would be held at the Governor House, Quetta.
The Balochistan governor would brief the prime minister about the ongoing development projects in the province and the latest situation.
Later, the prime minister would hold a separate meeting with the chief minister and his cabinet at the Chief Minister House.
During the visit, the premier will lay the foundation stones for the Daanish School, the National Highway N-25, and several other development schemes, in addition to inaugurating a number of completed projects.
