Lahore: The oath taking ceremony Governor-designate Sardar Salim Haider has once again delayed.
According to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider will take oath of office on May 10 (Friday).
Sources stated that the oath taking ceremony was delayed as sitting Governor Balighur Rehman is in Saudi Arabia these days to perform Umrah. They said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was likely to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
Sardar Salim was elected MNA in 2008 from Attock and served as state minister.
