Rawalpindi (Agencies): The 219th Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) was held on Thursday at GHQ presided by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the forum reviewed the geo-strategic environment and situation due to ongoing Pakistan India standoff.

Concerns were expressed over increased Indian atrocities in India Occupied Kashmir (IOK) after the Pulwama incident the continued deliberate targeting of civilians along the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian occupation forces. The forum concluded that the continuity of such brutalities was only fuelling the fire and needed to be stopped in the interest of world peace which also merits the attention of the world.

“Pakistan is on the positive trajectory of peace, stability and progress. No one can make us budge through use or threat of use of force. Similarly, policy and the right of use of force shall remain the prerogative of the state alone”, COAS.

The progress of the National Action Plan (NAP) 2014 was also discussed by the forum.
