Bilawal to meet PM Shehbaz over AJK situation, calls for political resolution of issues

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that he will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to deliberate on issues concerning Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

He made this announcement while presiding over a meeting of the PPP’s parliamentary party from AJK, where he voiced concern about the current situation in the region.

As per an official statement issued by the party’s AJK chapter, Bilawal highlighted that the PPP has always focused on addressing the problems of the people through peaceful and political processes.

He remarked that the party’s origins are closely linked with the Kashmir cause and reiterated that political matters should be resolved through dialogue and within the constitutional and legislative framework of the assembly.

During the meeting, PPP lawmakers put forward their proposals and feedback regarding the situation on the ground.

The meeting was also attended by PPP AJK political affairs in-charge Faryal Talpur, who participated in the discussions alongside party members.
