Islamabad (Staff Report): Interior Ministry has prepared summary for Eid Al Fitr holidays.
According to sources, the ministry has recommended Eid holidays from June 14 to June 18 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday).
On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman issued a directive to extend this year’s Eid Al Fitr holiday.
Under the plans, government and military staff will receive around a full working week off to mark the holiday, which falls at the end of Ramadan.
The exact start date of Eid has yet to be officially announced but an astronomer in Sharjah said this week that it will likely begin on Friday, June 15.
