Taliban regime turns Afghanistan into hub for regional, global terrorist networks

Kabul (Web Desk): The Taliban regime in Afghanistan has allowed the country to become a base for terrorist groups with activities extending across the region and beyond.

Addressing a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session focused on threats to international peace and security, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Sun Lei, warned that terrorist organizations operating from Afghan soil remain a major security challenge for neighbouring countries.

Sun Lei urged the Taliban regime to take strong, practical and immediate measures to confront and eliminate all terrorist groups and elements operating within Afghanistan.
