Govt slashes petrol price by Rs3.19, diesel by Rs1.50 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced lower prices for petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), with the Petroleum Division issuing a notification confirming the latest revision in fuel rates.

Petrol will now be available at Rs329.82 per litre after its price was reduced by Rs3.19. The government has also brought down the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.50 per litre, fixing its new rate at Rs382.36.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised prices were worked out by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and became effective at midnight.

The new rates will remain applicable until the next scheduled review of petroleum prices.
