Apple’s foldable iPhone ultra leaks online ahead of launch

California (Web Desk): Apple’s first foldable iPhone, reportedly expected to be named the “iPhone Ultra,” appears to be no longer a closely guarded secret, as multiple leaks and dummy units have surfaced online.

According to a YouTube video, dummy models of the foldable iPhone have been showcased, revealing key design elements of the upcoming device. The video suggests that the volume buttons will be placed on the top edge of the phone, while speakers are positioned on opposite corners.

The rear design is expected to feature a dual-camera setup, similar to Apple’s traditional iPhone design approach.

The dummy unit also indicates that when folded, the device will take on a square-like form factor, while unfolding it is expected to resemble a tablet-like experience. The phone is designed to open like a book, similar to other foldable devices in the market.

However, its design appears to differ significantly from existing foldable smartphones. Reports suggest the device will have a wider body with a shorter height, and when unfolded, it may feel similar to an iPad.

When folded, the device is expected to measure around 117.71 mm in height and 84.27 mm in width. When unfolded, it is said to feature a 7.8-inch display, while the cover screen may measure 5.5 inches.

Internally, the device is rumored to be powered by an A20 Pro chip and a 5,500 mAh battery.

The camera module is expected to resemble the iPhone Air style but with a fully black finish, housing two cameras, a microphone, and a flash—giving it an iPad Pro-like appearance overall.
