Apple to open first EU developer hub in Berlin

Berlin (Web Desk): Apple has announced plans to establish its first developer hub in Europe, with the facility expected to open by the end of this year in the German capital, Berlin.

The move comes at a time when relations between Apple and the European Union have remained strained over various regulatory and digital policy issues.

European regulators have repeatedly raised concerns about the company’s control over its platforms, prompting Apple to introduce several changes for users in the region.

The upcoming Berlin facility will become part of Apple’s global developer network, which already includes centers in Cupertino (USA), Bengaluru (India), Shanghai (China), and Singapore.

According to the company, these developer centers are designed to support software developers, engineers, and tech firms building applications for Apple platforms.

The hubs provide hands-on training sessions, technical workshops, and direct access to Apple experts to help improve app quality and performance.

Apple said the Berlin hub will play a key role in supporting European developers by offering advanced technical resources, guidance, and collaboration opportunities to enhance innovation in the region.
