PM expresses grief over deaths due to flash floods in US

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the devastating flash floods that struck Texas, USA.

In a message posted on social media platform X, the Prime Minister extended his hope that ongoing rescue efforts would help save more people from the calamity. He noted that Pakistan recently experienced a similar disaster in its north-west and empathizes with the suffering families.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with President Trump and the American nation during this difficult time,” he said.

Meanwhile, in Texas, rescuers are searching for more than two dozen children reported missing from a summer camp, following floods that have killed at least 43 people, including 15 children.
