Punjab CM orders live dashboard for monitoring development projects progress

Lahore (Web Desk): Over 200 villages in Punjab are set to benefit from essential infrastructure improvements under the first phase of the Model Village Project. The initiative will provide key amenities such as water supply, drainage systems, street lighting, children’s parks, and footpaths.

This update was shared during a high-level meeting in Lahore today, presided over by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The meeting also included discussions on the progress of major initiatives like the Punjab Development Program, Lahore Development Program, Ideal Village Project, PHA, Clean Water, and Rural Road Projects.

To ensure effective monitoring, the Chief Minister ordered the creation of a live dashboard to track daily progress on these projects. Additionally, she recommended laying sewerage lines in green belts rather than on roads to improve public convenience.

Maryam Nawaz also set a deadline for the Punjab Development Project in seven cities, directing that it be completed by April of this year.
