NASA allows astronauts to carry smartphones to space

New York (Web Desk): NASA has announced that astronauts traveling to the International Space Station (ISS) on the Crew-12 mission, as well as those flying by the Moon on the Artemis II mission, will for the first time be allowed to carry advanced smartphones into space.

This initiative aims to enable astronauts to capture special moments through photos and videos, allowing them to share their unique experiences with the world.

This marks the first time astronauts will be permitted to bring their personal smartphones on space missions.

NASA has implemented strict safety protocols to ensure that these devices do not interfere with any critical spacecraft systems.

Previously, smartphones were not allowed during Soyuz and Space Shuttle missions. However, thanks to advancements in technology and rigorous safety testing, this is now possible.
