Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting with Mahmoud Sidqi Al-Habbash, Advisor for Religious Affairs to the Palestinian President, and Ahmed Hussain, Imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The meeting was also attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan.
Mahmoud Sidqi Al-Habbash, who is also the Chief Justice of the Palestinian Sharia Court, conveyed greetings from Palestinian President Dr. Mahmoud Abbas. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and praised their courage in facing Israeli aggression.
The Prime Minister assured that Pakistan will continue to raise its voice for Palestinian rights on all diplomatic platforms and committed to providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.
In response, the Palestinian advisor expressed gratitude on behalf of the Palestinian government and people for Pakistan’s steadfast support during these challenging times. He also extended condolences over the recent floods in Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mahmoud Sidqi Al-Habbash presented a letter from President Mahmoud Abbas to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Palestinian delegation, led by Mahmoud Sidqi Al-Habbash, is currently in Islamabad to participate in a conference on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
