Beijing (Web Desk): Pakistan and China have nurtured a relationship that has remained intact despite changing global circumstances, shifting political alliances, regional disputes, and economic challenges over the last 75 years.

A recent article published in a Chinese newspaper described the Pakistan-China relationship as a unique example of enduring confidence, strategic cooperation, and unwavering friendship.

It noted that the two countries have repeatedly stood together during crucial moments and have consistently supported one another when it mattered most.

The article pointed out that China has long backed Pakistan on issues related to national sovereignty, territorial concerns, and regional peace.

It stated that Beijing has frequently supported Islamabad at international platforms, including the United Nations, particularly during periods when Pakistan faced significant diplomatic challenges.

At the same time, the report acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions to China on the international stage.

It recalled Islamabad’s support for Beijing’s legitimate representation at the United Nations (UN) and highlighted Pakistan’s continued adherence to the One-China policy despite evolving regional and global developments.

According to the article, Pakistan has also remained vocal in defending China against what it described as politically motivated criticism and efforts by external forces to hinder China’s growth and influence. It added that Islamabad has consistently viewed Beijing not only as a strategic ally but also as a trusted and reliable friend.

The publication further emphasized Pakistan’s determination to facilitate Chinese investment projects and ensure the safety of Chinese citizens working in the country.

It noted that despite security threats and attempts by hostile elements to disrupt bilateral cooperation, Pakistan continues to consider the protection of Chinese interests a national obligation, demonstrating the high value it places on its relationship with China.
