Karachi (Staff Report): Bearish trend prevailed at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday as benchmark KSE-100 index lost 107 points to close at 40,239 points.
In all, 143.2 million shares worth Rs4.98 billion were traded at the exchange. Of the 325 traded scrips,138 advanced, 153 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
The power generation and distribution sector dominated trading with 31.1m shares traded with K-Electric as the highest traded scrip.
